about project
Sunday Harvest was a vertical farming startup I co founded with my friend Jordan, aimed at supplying fresh, hyper local leafy greens to cafes, restaurants, and community spaces around Sydney. We developed a business model around “grow on site, fully managed produce”, reducing food miles and helping businesses meet ESG and sustainability goals.
We entered the idea into the IBISWorld 3P Innovation & Entrepreneurship Program, a competition for students whose business ideas align with the 3Ps (People, Planet, Profit), designed to mentor teams and help turn ideas into viable ventures.
Through competitor and market analysis, financial planning, and service model development, I led operations, partnership negotiations, and early system build out, while Jordan and I refined the offering. We ended up winning the 3P competition, a milestone that validated our concept and gave us momentum.
While Sunday Harvest was incredibly rewarding, I eventually pivoted to focus on my design career, so the project naturally wound down.
